 Welcome to the Southern
Tier Youth for Christ website. Founded in 1947, Southern Tier YFC
joined with Youth for Christ International and YFC USA in communicating the life-changing message of Jesus
Christ to area young people and their families. As we have during the past sixty years, we
here at Southern Tier YFC continue today to stand by YFC's slogan,
"Anchored to the Rock, Geared to the Times" growing over the years to keep
Christ's message relevant to the everyday life and times for each new "today's"
youth. Never forgetting that Christ's wonderful message of Grace and Salvation never
changes. Over the
last four decades our local Campus Life and Campus Life/JV programs have been the core of
our ministry. While these important ministries continue today, we have over the last few
years added a number of Youth Centers and Skate Parks across the Southern Tier, meeting
today's youth where they live and play..
We here at Southern Tier YFC strive to
share three stories. My Story, Their Story, and most importantly God's Story. Connecting
My Story to God's Story by abiding in and depending on Jesus; Connecting My Story to Their
Story by being real and loving our lost friends; and Connecting Their Story to God's Story
by unfolding the mysteries of the Gospel with our friends.
